Simple Acne Removal Treatment

Acne is a dermatological term that refers to a number of skin complaints ranging from pimples and whiteheads to large and painful cysts. In any form, it is unpleasant and embarrassing.

However, there is a simple acne removal treatment that can provide relief from the nightmare of living with acne.

It is wise to bear in mind that not all acne removal treatments will work for all skin types. Therefore, what works for your friend may not work for you (this is why there tends to be conflicting advice over the best way to treat acne).

Consequently, it is advisable to experiment with various acne removal treatments until you find the one that works best for you.

Acne Removal Treatment for Pimples

Although it is not advisable to squeeze pimples, there are times when you are likely to do it anyway. Therefore, it is a good idea to apply a hot compress and then lance the pimple with a sterilized needle (sterilize it by placing in a flame or with alcohol). Then, gently squeeze the spot and wash your face and hands thoroughly.

Ÿ You may find it helpful to change your bath soap or shower gel. Try a brand that is designed for sensitive skin. Alternatively, you may like to try the more expensive options of specifically designed facial scrubs and cleansers.

Acne Removal Treatment for Blackheads

ŸSteam is good for the skin’s pores and is therefore effective in all cases of acne. However, it is particularly helpful in the treatment of blackheads. Try placing your head over a bowl of hot water or sit in a sauna. Ensure that you wash your face (or whole body in the case of a sauna) afterwards.

There are many cosmetic products, such as strips designed to be placed over the nose, which can be beneficial in the fight against blackheads. These can be expensive, but are, on the whole, very effective.

Acne Removal Treatment for Whiteheads

As with pimples, if you plan to pop a whitehead, ensure that you do so safely. Be as gentle as possible and take extra care if you are squeezing near a cluster of whiteheads, as this can cause an internal burst, which will result in an even larger outbreak of spots.

Many people claim that toothpaste is helpful. Simply, apply a small dab on the whitehead. This will dry the area out and reduce redness and inflammation. Similarly, a mixture of baking soda and water is said to work in the same manner.

Acne Removal Treatment for Cysts

Cysts are the most severe form of acne and may need topical creams from a doctor. However, there are some things that you can do to reduce an outbreak, such as reducing the amount of sugar and fat in your diet.

In addition, you may find it helpful to increase your exercise levels and, most importantly, ensure that you are drinking plenty of water. To keep skin healthy, it is advised that you drink approximately 8 glasses of water per day.

Of course, there are many more acne removal treatment options, but these are the most inexpensive and natural methods. Anybody suffering from acne should make a concerted effort to improve diet and water intake, because this simple steps can have a huge impact on the health of your skin.
